We bought this in celebration of our friends' engagement (to each other). But it was far too sweet for me. Like, it wasn't really brut. Dan says it was full of sharp peach and honey. We drank a reasonable amount of it and vacuum corked it, but the next day it was already totally flat. Dan says it would be good in mimosas, and he's probably right. That's the only other occasion I would buy it for. Also, it turns out (and we would have known this had we looked harder) that it's from Alsace, which explains the high sugar content. Bleugh. But for mimosas, ok.
Ranking: Dan says 7, I say 4. Officially, 5.5.
